Key Cost Drivers for Plastic Parts

October 6, 2017
aPriori supports costing parts in a number of plastics processes: - Injection, Reaction Injection and Structural Foam Molding ("bulk" parts) - Vacuum and Drape Forming (sheet parts) - Roto and Blow Molding ("hollow" parts) Though each of these processes are different and used to satisfy different design criteria, their part and tooling costs are influenced in similar ways. This presentation discusses the key cost drivers and trends we tend to see as we make changes throughout a variety of plastic parts.
